From Avenida Castilla la Mancha, next to Cuenca Street and Ciudad Real Street, Cala Puntalejo can be found. It is separated from the Playa Fuente del Gallo by a rocky outcrop that houses a small bunker embedded in the cliff. This small cove is often used by people looking for a calm environment. Sometimes a stream flows onto the beach, dividing it in two. At low tide it can be seen that the entire seafloor is covered by a rocky shore platform with small spaces of sand and crystal-clear water.
Fossil remains can be found in the cliff walls, a sign of their origin (please remember to look but do not take).
