Opposite the Costa Ballena Resort is the Playa de La Ballena. Its sand dune system is bordered by landscaped areas of housing developments that isolate the beach and give it natural charm. In the beach accesses, the various footbridges allow you to traverse the gap between the housing developments and dry sand, thereby facilitating access for people with reduced mobility. The main beachgoers belong to the various housing developments in the interior of the complex. 

In the artificial lagoons of the Costa Ballena Resort, you can see a great diversity of birds, particularly egrets, anatidae and coots (ducks), who take advantage of these ponds to feed and rest.
