Remains of a wall of the old Battery of Palmar inspire the name of this beach and protect it from the westerly winds. Next to the Vistahermosa housing development, the Playa de Muralla has all its amenities next to the parking lot. At the other end of the beach, small sandy coves are interwoven between fragments of wall ruins, which remain cut off from the rest during high tide.
