The Playa de Poniente beach, the only beach in the municipality in the interior of the Bay of Algeciras, contains a wide and triangular shaped sand surface, backed by the jetty of Marina Alcaidesa. As beach used by residents of the area, it has a great variety of services. It can be accessed from the avenue Avda. Príncipe de Asturias.
From the beach you can see the west face of the Rock of Gibraltar.
