At the border of the border with Gibraltar and very close to the Rock extends the beach of Santa Barbara. It is known for the presence in its sands of the ruins of the fort of Santa Barbara, which delimits the beach to the north. With a wide area of sand and a promenade with terraced parking lots, it is a beach visited for its tranquillity and landscape. Unlike on the Playa de Poniente beach, from here the Rock's eastern side is visible.
